Biology & Wildlife Areas of Study
Ecology, Conservation Biology, and Environmental Science
Opportunities for experience in ecology, conservation biology, and environmental science in Alaska are boundless. We have faculty and courses in virtually every area of ecology and ecosystem science from monitoring wildlife populations to computer modeling of global processes. Undisturbed ecological communities are found adjacent to the UAF campus and can be accessed through the 35 miles of skiing and hiking trails in the UAF trail system.
